Latest campaign to sell enrollment uses ‘mom jeans’

Never mind the shameless, incessant peddling of a law nobody wants. Never mind either the constant, albeit deliberate, blurring of the lines that divide health insurance from access to health care.

Focus instead on the optics. An administration that took a serious drubbing for Pajama Boy has gone all in. Behold their latest appeal:

It’s hard to figure. Is this Obama’s way of saying, “Screw y’all. I like wearing mom jeans”? Can we expect more of the same in future tweets? Will HHS create a visual featuring the mom-jeans-wearer-in-chief throwing out a ceremonial pitch?
