Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Curtis Farber sentenced Harvey Weinstein to 15 years behind bars, Wednesday.
Harvey Weinstein begged for mercy during sentencing, where the prosecution laid out his alleged plot to pay a podcaster $1.75 million to smear his victims, according to The New York Post.
The 74-year-old convicted rapist had no visible reaction when the judge delivered his fate, calling Weinstein a “sexual predator” with an “insatiable appetite for sexual dominance.”

His accuser, Miriam Haley, claimed Weinstein assaulted her in his Manhattan apartment July 10, 2006.
She alleged that he hired private investigators to follow her after she came forward with allegations against the former Hollywood mogul, causing her to live in a state of distrust and paranoia.
Haley claimed that as a result, she was left “questioning every encounter I have,” according to The New York Post.
During the hearing, prosecutors alleged that they had recordings of Weinstein on a jailhouse phone call. They claimed the recordings captured Weinstein offering a podcaster $1.75 million to release videos of witnesses “to contaminate the jury pool and to reach the jurors before and after the trial,” reported the outlet.

Weinstein addressed the court before learning his fate.
“I am not a perfect person. I am a person who has made mistakes,” he confessed.
Weinstein continued to speak from his wheelchair.

Haley claimed the ordeal “often felt as though I was the one on trial.”
“It’s a life sentence for me,” she said.
Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Nicole Blumberg did not disclose the identity of the podcaster.
