Biden press sec after he is caught violating his own mask order: He has ‘bigger issues’
Genius at work; the face mask hanging from his left ear is a nice touch.

Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki raised eyebrows when she dismissed questions about the president failing to wear a mask on federal property – a violation of an executive order he signed hours earlier.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned why the president and his family were not wearing masks at the Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday, considering the mandate is required on federal property at all times.

“Why weren’t President Biden and all members of the Biden family masked at all times on federal lands last night, if he signed an executive order that mandates masks on federal lands at all times?” Doocy asked.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Psaki initially replied that they get to flout the rules because Biden “was celebrating” an “historic day in our country.” Pressed further on whether the president was setting a “good example” Psaki replied, “I think we have bigger issues to worry about at this moment in time.”

Something is bigger than the coronavirus, which has now claimed north of 400,000 lives, and efforts to curb the spread? What might that be?

Biden not Leading by Example after Failing to Wear a Mask

Biden tweeted about his executive order regarding masks and the “100-day masking challenge” he was promoting. “Wearing masks isn’t a partisan issue,” he wrote. “It’s a patriotic act that can save countless lives. That’s why I signed an executive order today issuing a mask mandate on federal property. It’s time to mask up, America.”

It’s time all right, just not for him. And it’s not time if you’re “celebrating” historic events.

If we use the media’s own standard, Biden engaged in a super-spreader event, failed to follow the science, and wants people to die.

Just Can’t Admit Their Mistake

Psaki, in her first press briefing in which she appeared with two masks on, told reporters that “the president has also asked us to be models for the American people.”

The hypocrisy is rich.

Why was Doocy the only one to question it? Kayleigh McEnany must have fielded dozens upon dozens of questions involving masks or being maskless. Biden’s press secretary gets just one reporter curious as to why the president broke his own rules?

This past August, Biden slammed Donald Trump for not wearing a mask at Memorial Day events. “He’s a fool, an absolute fool to talk that way,” he asserted. “Presidents are supposed to lead, not engage in folly and be falsely masculine.”

Push-up contest, anyone?
