From time to time, we here at LU make note of some of the more moronic calls people make to 911.
There is, for example, the woman who dialed 911 to lure police away from her location so she could drive home drunk. More than once, people have called 911 to complain about their partner refusing to have sex with them, and on a couple of occasions 911 dispatchers have behaved badly: In July of this year, a frustrated 911 operator told a caller to “deal with it yourself.” Another, who told teen to “stop whining” lost her job.
