Stonewalling and foot-dragging, two strategies that have served the Obama administration well on Benghazi, the IRS, and other scandals, are not working this time. The nightmare within the Veterans Administration is simply too big (and growing by the day) and too pervasive to ignore.
In fact, this time the calls for action, including the overdue dismissal of Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki, are coming at the president from his left as well as his right:
