Banks have been going out of business since 2010, and it has gotten harder for small businesses to take out loans. Why? Answer: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a relatively new government agency that’s supposed to make sure the lending and borrowing process is fair. “Consumer protection” sounds like a good thing. But this agency is making it harder for people to get jobs.
