Viral spelling-bee kid: He totally ‘knew it’ before he misspelled it

Everybody has the story, because it’s, well, gone viral.  But it’s still pretty cute.  (Or annoying, depending on your taste in these matters.)

Jacob Williamson, 15, is reportedly a “numismatist, fantasy football coach, and Tim Tebow fan.”  He also thoroughly upstaged the winner of the National Spelling Bee, whose name no one knows right now because Williamson’s excited reactions during the grueling competition are cereal-box ready.

In the first clip, young Jacob spells “carcharodont” correctly.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In the second, he meets his nemesis in the form of the word “kabaragoya.”  But it was more like his nemesis met him.  Even old Nemesis has trouble making herself heard in this scenario.  See if you think she really came off the best in the encounter.
