An athletic coach at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School was arrested Monday after he allegedly filmed two 16-year-olds performing a sex act on school property, police say.

Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez approached the students Feb. 14 and asked them an inappropriate question, NBC6 Miami reported. He then brought them into a production room to “do whatever they want,” which the students understood as permission to engage in sexual conduct, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the outlet.

The teenagers reportedly saw a camera in the first room, prompting Ramirez-Martinez to lead them inside an adjoining classroom, NBC6 continued. The 37-year-old volleyball coach and part-time security monitor then recorded the sex act through a two-way window, the outlet reported.

Ramirez-Martinez allegedly gave the students a thumbs-up and fist-bumped one of them soon thereafter. (RELATED: Elementary Principal, PE Teacher Fired For Having Sex On Campus)

Ramirez-Martinez approached the female student the following day, according to NBC6. He reportedly tried to coerce her into performing the same sex act on him.

The girl denied Ramirez-Martinez on multiple occasions, NBC6 reported. He allegedly insisted she needed someone with more experience, and that he likes minors such as herself, according to the outlet.

The school reported the allegations to the Doral Police Department upon learning about them. Ramirez-Martinez was arrested on charges of promoting sexual performance by a child, offenses against students by authority figures and engaging in a sexual act with a child in custodial authority, according to the affidavit cited by NBC6.

“As a result of their investigation, The Doral Police Department arrested Mr. Yunieski Ramirez who was employed as a part-time security monitor and athletic coach,” the school said in a statement, the outlet reported. “Mr. Ramirez was immediately terminated as an employee with Downtown Doral Charter Upper School [DDCUS] and has NOT been on school grounds since the initial report. DDCUS continues to cooperate with all law enforcement authorities and cannot comment further on the investigation.”

“He was hired as a security monitor and as a coach last year and within his first few weeks on the job he’s already committing several felonies, so we’re glad to put people like this in jail,” Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez told NBC6.

Ramirez-Martinez appeared in bond court Feb. 21, and his bond was set at $40,000, according to the outlet.
