Democrats are convinced that mail-in ballots are the only safe way of holding the 2020 presidential election on Nov. 3. They are steadfast in this position despite several troubling realities. The self-appointed party of science wouldn’t dream of calling in an expert to ask about the safety of polling in person, such as epidemiologist Katy Talento, who recently avowed that with precautions the task could be safely accomplished. Not that the Democrats have that impressive a track record of social distancing when the necessity of congregating when an “important” reason for doing so arises:
Then of course there’s the matter of the reliability of the U.S. Postal Service. Granted an assessment by the Government Accountability Office from 2006 reveals that delivery times had in indeed improved, but reviews by consumers posted this year suggest the USPS still has a long way to go.

But there are no bigger critics of the Postal Service — or of the trials and tribulations of voting by mail — than the Democrats themselves. As the video that follows reveals, their enthusiasm for mail-in voting is apparently a recent development.
