President Joe Biden’s “team” allegedly asked Twitter to delete tweets days before the 2020 election, a photo published Friday by author Matt Taibbi showed.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk notified Twitter users Friday afternoon that details on how legacy media censored stories about Hunter Biden would be published in the coming hours.

Taibbi then published alleged details of how Twitter added tools to control speech over time, “based upon thousands of internal documents obtained by sources at Twitter.”

One document that Taibbi published shows that on October 24, 2020, one Twitter executive showed another executive five tweets to be reviewed “from the Biden team.”

Another executive replied, “handled these.”

One tweet that was asked to be removed was a picture of Hunter Biden in a mirror with his genitals censored, and a woman behind him, an archive reviewed by the Caller shows. A second tweet that was asked to be deleted shows Hunter Biden in the same picture, with his genitals not censored.

Another document published by Taibbi shows a Twitter executive sending two tweets allegedly requested to be deleted by the Democratic National Committee.

One requested tweet said “Picture of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden Using and Weighing Drugs Disclosed!” and “Hunter Biden’s Sex Tapes, The CCP’s “BGY” Infiltration in the U.S., Evil Alliance to Dominate the World,” while a second tweet shows a picture of Hunter Biden nude, an archived picture review by the Caller showed.

Taibbi also alleged that “both parties had access to these tools,” and that the “requests from both the Trump White House and the Biden campaign were received and honored” in 2020. (RELATED: Musk Releases Details On How Twitter Censored The Hunter Biden Laptop Story)

“This system wasn’t balanced. It was based on contacts. Because Twitter was and is overwhelmingly staffed by people of one political orientation, there were more channels, more ways to complain, open to the left (well, Democrats) than the right,” he added.
