As Ben Bowles reported yesterday, the mainstream media falsely reported that students from a Catholic school in Kentucky wearing red Make America Great Again hats heckled an American Indian elder and Vietnam vet. The incident, which was captured on cell phone video, occurred outside the Lincoln Memorial. The teens were in Washington for the March for Life, and the Indian, Nathan Phillips, was there for an Indigenous Peoples March.
Once the full video began circulating, so did a number on inconvenient truths, among them that the Indians were activists who had taken part in the Occupy movement and the protests at Standing Rock, The teens were were waiting for buses to take them home when Phillips and company approached and began banging drums in the boys’ faces.
Some people vented their outrage to the initial reports on social media, but none was quite so vehement as “comedian” Kathy Griffin, who wrote:

Dox the f*ckers?! We’re talking about children here. Griffin, who is an adult — at least chronologically — is inciting her 2.13 million followers to reveal the names and addresses of teenagers, who should then be “shamed.” It’s anybody’s guess what that translates to in the world inhabited by Kathy Griffin and her followers.
This is not the first time Griffin has seen fit to vent her spleen at children. In a December 2016 in Vulture magazine, she announced that her comedic targets for the coming year would be the entire Trump family, including the president’s son Barron, who was 11 years old at the time.
Now more than ever we must absolutely go for all the absurdities. For me, that’s Trump and all things Trump. It’s not about trying to be an equal-opportunity offender anymore because Hillary got such a beat down. It’s his turn. So I’m happy to deliver beat down to Donald Trump … and also to Barron. You know a lot of comics are going to go hard for Donald, my edge is that I’ll go direct for Barron. I’m going to get in ahead of the game.

Trump family sources tell us Barron was in front of the TV watching a show when the news came on and he saw the bloody, beheaded image. We’re told he panicked and screamed, “Mommy, Mommy!”
Returning to the main theme, Griffin has yet to recant her original tweet inviting her followers to “get” the students at Covington Catholic. She did, however, post a followup tweet:
