Ruth Bader Ginsburg didn’t look well at a recent public appearance

Ruth Bader Ginsburg didn’t look well at a recent public appearance
File; from an appearance in 2018.

There are many contenders for what might constitute Democrats’ worst nightmare at this point, but fairly high up on the list is the fear that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will leave the Supreme Court while Donald Trump is still president, opening the possibility of yet another nomination. So desperate are liberals to see Ginsburg tough it out that many have pledged to donate their organs to the 85-year-old Justice should that necessity arise.

Ginsburg herself has expressed a fervent desire to outlast Trump, at least through one term. In January, she made something of a statement to that effect by hiring a clerk through 2020.

But for all her shows of spunk and determination, Ginsberg appeared frail and not particularly well at an event at George Washington University on Wednesday. As can be seen in the video that follows, she sits slumped over during the much of the Q & A, creating uncomfortable silences via lengthy pauses between the time she receives a question and the time she answers. At moments, it almost appears as though she is nodding off to sleep.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Please understand, I wish Ginsburg the best and in no way intend my observations here to be ghoulish. If anyone can be accused of that, it is the Democrats who have offered her their organs to keep her on the bench.
