The Red Hen Hen in Virginia made a statement last week, and now an upstate New York eatery is having its own say. Kipps restaurant, in the town of South Wales, is  getting some high-profile love after posting a sign outside welcoming White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders with open arms.

The sign is a direct shot at the Red, which disgracefully refused to serve someone not of their kind last week, demanding that Sanders leave, then harassing her family when they went to another location.

Kipps is slightly more accommodating and inclusive. (It must be run by Republicans.)

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Open! Breakfast Sarah Sanders Welcome Any Time,” the sign reads.

The restaurant caught the eye of a former presidential candidate, former Arkansas governor, and current father to Sarah, Mike Huckabee.

“Looks like my kind of place!” he wrote, posting an image of the sign on Twitter.

Stephanie Wilkerson, the Red Hen’s owner, claims that she’s “not a huge fan of confrontation” but insists “this feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.”

Her “morals” appear to sanction segregating people based on their political beliefs. How progressive.

It would have been one thing to refuse figuratively to “bake the cake” for a conservative woman, but Wilkerson then continued to harass and intimidate the press secretary’s family.

“After Sarah and her husband left and the family relocated to a restaurant across the street, the owner of the Red Hen then organized an effort to go and scream at them from the sidewalk at the other restaurant,” Governor Huckabee reported.

Kipps has thus far opted not to comment to media outlets about their sign but has received numerous positive reviews since their photo circulated online.

“I believe in supporting a business that serves all w/out bias!” one review reads on Yelp.

“Thank you for standing up for our country!” another wrote. “Thank you for not being afraid to stand up for what is right!”

As per usual with the internet world, trolls also came out of the woodwork to post fake negative reviews for the restaurant.

“It was difficult to enjoy my delicious food knowing the management is okay with serving neo-fascists and racists who support child abuse,” one triggered liberal wrote from their mother’s basement. “I felt as if the other patrons would be happy calling ICE on people simply for speaking a different language.”

It must be difficult to eat food when you’re constantly that miserable and pathetic.
