The vote along partisan lines by the House Intelligence Committee to release the much-talked about FISA memo gave a number of Democrats conniption fits. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., underwent a total meltdown during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
In the exchange, a video of which appears below, she referred to Rep. Devin Nunes as “Dennis,” but that was the nicest thing she called it. The ugliest was “a stooge of the White House.”
And it went downhill from there.

“The Republican Party has crossed over to cover up,”she said. “They’re deadly afraid of the Russia investigation.”
She then told Cuomo that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
According to the Daily Caller:
“Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI obviously recently selected by President Trump, he got the memo. He could have come out and said ‘This is reckless, don’t release it,’” Cuomo said.
“Let me just say this with all due respect, you really don’t know what you’re talking about right now,” Pelosi replied.
“But did Christopher Wray look at it or no?”
Pelosi said, “I can’t say whether he did or not but he did not, he did not–in order to redact, you have to have the people who know…”
Twitchy added:
We hate to keep harping on it, but Rep. Ted Lieu, who’s seen the memo, compared it to Geraldo Rivera’s disastrous opening of Al Capone’s vault on live TV. So there’s nothing there, right? Or is it chock full of lies that will manage to deceive the American public?
It’s hard to fathom how Democrats consider the outing of bad actors in one of the nation’s top intelligence-gathering agencies to be tantamount to attempting to destroy the agency. If anything, weeding out the criminals would make the agency stronger. But somehow you get the impression that deep down, Democrats really know this, which is what makes Pelosi’s tantrum on national TV all the sadder.
