You snooze, you lose, goes the old saying. And it does appear that U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful [score]Bernie Sanders[/score] nodded off during a commemoration of Memorial Day at Presidio National Cemetery in San Francisco.
Some commenters who have examined the Facebook post that follows maintain that Sanders is not actually sleeping but is lost in fervent prayer. Yeah, it’s possible, I guess.
Other supporters of the socialist note that he is 74 years old and has been on the go continuously for many months. It’s hard to see how those rationalizations work in Sanders’s favor considering the stress levels attendant the job he is hoping to cinch for at least the next four years.
There’s also the point noted by Weasel Zippers that Zoe Dunning, the person who posted the image, is vice chair is a Hillary supporter.
