A new viral video posted to YouTube shows yesterday’s attempted attack on Donald Trump from a different angle, which reveals the man got much closer to the GOP front-runner than originally imagined.
Initial reports suggested that the interloper was close enough to the candidate to grab his leg, but as the screen capture above reveals, the would-be assailant was on his feet and literally inches from Trump.
The Secret Service acted quickly to subdue the protester, though you have to wonder how they failed to notice him earlier as he ran toward the stage.
