My apologies to the phenomenally successful social media site and to all Yelpers, but a story out of Grimsby, England made it hard for me to resist the above title.
The story, picked up by The Guardian, focuses on a largely favorable review of facilities in that town by self-styled critic by one Christian Willoughby. In a Facebook post that has since received 5,000 shares and counting, Willoughby describes his accommodations as “pleasant enough,” adding, “Had my own on-suite [sic] room and butler.”
His biggest complaint was the all-day breakfast, which does sound petty gross: “2 sausages floating around a runny sauce with a threw [sic] diced potatoes thrown in. Lovely.”
So which hotel was he reviewing? None. It was the police station in Lincolnshire, where he was escorted following his arrest for a misdemeanor. Apparently, ground transportation was included.
