
It hasn’t happened often, but it has happened. All three contestants not only come up with the wrong answer in Final Jeopardy but go all in, betting everything, with the end result there is no returning champ.
The Daily Mail reports this was the situation on Monday night’s show:
Long-time host Alex Trebek had asked the trio to guess the final clue in the State Capitals category on Monday’s episode.
“A 1957 event led to the creation of a national historic site in this city, signed into law by a president whose library is now there too,” the tricky question read.
