Michele Fiore is a Republican assemblywoman in Nevada. This week she shared her 2015 Christmas card on Facebook, and it has drawn the attention — and in some cases ire — of those who have seen the post.
The hot button issue is not the mention of the word Christmas. It is rather the photograph of Fiore and her extended family that has caused a stir.
Fiore, described by The Hill as a vocal gun rights advocate, posted the photo on Nov. 30, two days before a radicalized Muslim couple in San Bernardino, Calif., murdered 14 unarmed civilians at an office party.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
In the picture, every family member, including Fiore’s young grandson, is packing heat. A legend in the top left of the picture identifies the weapon each person is holding or wearing.
Here is the post:
It’s up to Americans to protect America. We’re just your ordinary American family.-With love & liberty, Michele
