Repeat after me: Death to sock puppets!
That’s not my opinion. That’s the general consensus in the Twittersphere over Kermit the Frog taking up with a new leaner and meaner pig a month after calling it quits with his long-time squeeze, Miss Piggy.
Despite denials that Kermit and Denise are “an item,” the pictures appear to tell another story. (No, there are none of the couple in coitus medias, besides which get your mind out of the gutter.)

Why does #Kermit‘s new girlfriend have a face like a Bratz doll, skinny legs, and no style?? Jim Henson would be turning in his grave

#Kermit just seems like Woody Allen now; A neurotic, skinny frog taking advantage of naive piglets. #TeamPiggy

These people do understand that we’re talking about puppets? Then again, fellow Muppets Bert and Ernie were outed by the New Yorker in 2013, and they too are just plush toys.
As for Kermit going after a younger svelter pig, to my eye Denise (shown below) could stand to shed a couple pounds.
Also, in the world of liberal grievance, doesn’t Kermit get some credit for interspecies dating?
