Where are they now? Occupy protester holding sign demanding ‘Pay me’ arrested

Ever wonder what happened to Occupy Wall Street protesters since their 15 minutes of fame elapsed? Apparently, they slither out of their mothers’ basement every once in a while to demand money, display vulgar signs to unsuspecting tourists, and attack photographers and their equipment.

Calling him “a sign of the times,” the New York Post took photos and ran a story about Occupy protester Daniel Kimery, a “man” caught standing around Times Square with a sign that read:  “F**k You!!! Pay Me!!!!!!!”

A foul-mouthed panhandler with a message of hate is the new welcome wagon for visitors to the Crossroads of the World.

Daniel Kimery, 36, greeted tourists on Wednesday with a hand-lettered sign saying: “F–k You!!! Pay Me!!!!!!! I need money 4 Drugz & Hoez & Weaponz Mother F–kerz!”

Kimery also drew frightened stares by cursing and ranting at passers-by while wearing a sleeveless green T-shirt promoting the “Occupy” movement.

Charisma and charm aside, Kimery is a veteran of the Occupy movement with a criminal record, having been busted four times since July of 2013.

Now he has a new charge on his résumé – criminal mischief. Kimery was arrested Wednesday for breaking the camera equipment of a reporter taking his picture. Perhaps if Kimery does get paid, he can give that money to the reporter as restitution.

“I’ve read stories about those Occupy people in the news,” one bystander said. “It’s sad, but that’s the kind of person their group attracts.”

Another said Kimery “belongs in a mental hospital.”

Assemblywoman, Nicole Malliotakis, tweeted that this is not only a sign of the times, but it’s a product of “De Blasio’s New York.”

Kimery recently started a GoFundMe page to raise funds for a trip to Ferguson to protest “racism and police brutality.”

Of course, protesting racism becomes a subjective goal when you were once arrested for breaking a bathroom door at a church and yelling “f***ing n**gers” while being hauled off, as Kimery was in 2013.

He manged to raise $361 for the trip to Ferguson, but it’s difficult to ascertain whether or not he actually went to protest racism and attain #Justice4MichaelBrown, as the last update indicates Kimery’s car had broken down.

Now where is the justice in that?
