Reid used his considerable influence to persuade the city of Henderson, Nev., to amend its job requirements for the position of city attorney so that his son, Josh, could qualify. Spielberg, a billionaire, helped himself to millions of dollars in tax breaks and incentives for agreeing to film his movie “Lincoln” in Virginia.
