Memo to Tom Wolf, a Democrat who is running for governor of Pennsylvania: If your campaign team hires a pervert to star in one of your TV ad buys, it reflects poorly on you, even if you take down the ad.

From BuzzFeed:

Alan Benyak, an actor who stars in Pennsylvania Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf’s ad “Jeeps” also had a lead role as “Mr. Cannibal” in a twisted porn film called Breeding Farm.

In the ad, Benyak — who is in fact a former Army lawyer and former judicial candidate whose Central Pennsylvania practice reportedly includes real estate and estate planning— delivers the message that Wolf served in the Peace Corps.

A poster for “Breeding Farm” follows, along with a vidstill featuring Benyak in his role as “Mr. Cannibal.”

BuzzFeed provides the text of a plot summary found online:

Four friends are kidnapped by a mysterious man. The friends wake up in a basement, and realize they are part of something horrifying. A human breeding farm. They are to be milked, bred, and much, much worse!

In the film, Benyak tortures a half-naked woman, buys another, force-feeds yet another, cannibalizes a fourth, and so on. The film is also said to include rape, kidnapping, miking a woman, and much, much more. The descriptions don’t quite jibe with candidate Wolf’s expressed views on women. From his campaign website:

Tom Wolf is proud to stand with women in Pennsylvania who are fighting backwards legislation signed into law by Governor Corbett that restricts a woman’s right to make her own personal health care decisions.

[…]

In addition, Tom believes that equal work should be rewarded with equal pay. And Tom will fight salary discrimination based on gender, and work to ensure that women are treated, and paid, fairly and equally in the workplace.

Wolf’s team has deep-sixed the ad.
