Don’t be fooled for a minute about ISIS’s ruthlessness, resolve, or organizational strengths. On this past weekend’s Journal Editorial Report on Fox News Channel, WSJ columnist Bret Stephens noted that the Islamic State is no “rag-tag group of terrorists, but a well-trained, heavily armed, and extremely dangerous militia.” Most of the group’s weapons are American-made, stolen from stockpiles in Iraq. ISIS is well-funded, as well.
None of which means that its supporters here in the U.S. have a clue. Take this guy, called to our attention by LU Twitter follower and blogger Chuck Nellis:
Granted, juice contains a lot of sugar, but it’s still better for you than soda. Or, as Emily Litella, would say, “Never mind.”
