Video: Israel thwarts tunnel attack by Hamas

A major strategic objective of Israel’s ground assault on Gaza is to seal off one route by which Hamas jihadists have been infiltrating the Jewish state’s sovereign territory — namely via dozens of tunnels connecting the two. On Thursday, the day the ground offensive began, the IDF intercepted 13 Hamas fighters attempting to infiltrate Israel through an underground tunnel.
