Video: Watch doctors remove cell phone from man’s mouth

OK, if no one else is going to ask, then I will: Say, fella, how’d you get that cell phone wedged in your mouth?

The Daily Mail allows as how the video, which just recently went viral, was shot in 2012 by Edward Shingo, a member of the medical team. The surgery and the cell phone-in-mouth incident both occurred in Klerksdorp, South Africa.

The Mail notes that “in 2005, a Missouri man was charged with felony assault for forcing a cell phone down his ex-girlfriend’s throat during a dispute.”
