Flashback: Obama even stole ‘Yes, we can’

Yesterday, we reported that Organizing for Action was offering sappy stickers to supporters of Obamacare (all ten of them!) that were a ripoff off the Gadsden flag, which has been used since 2009 as a symbol of the Tea Party.

Today we offer a reminder of another Obama theft — the slogan “Yes, we can.” So who did he boost it from? Hint: It was another president, one whose lunch Obama couldn’t pack. The words, moreover, were not uttered in the context of “fundamentally transforming” this great land of ours but of preserving it.

The slogan appears in the following video, which is worth watching its entirety.
