The video also includes the curious remarks by Bergdahl’s father, which are in Arabic, and which he prefaces by explaining that “Bowe is having trouble speaking English.”
Interestingly, the father appears to be wearing a skull cap and has the sort of unkempt, never-trimmed beard that one associates with extremely orthodox Jews (Hassidim) and orthodox Muslims. Is he the latter?
