Planned Parenthood teaches teens about BDSM

Planned Parenthood of New England created a workshop and video to teach “teenagers and young adults” about BDSM, which, according to the Urban Dictionary, is an “overlapping abbreviation of Bondage and Discipline (BD), Dominance and Submission (DS), Sadism and Masochism (SM).”

In a brochure, Jinny Ferro, adjunct professor at Farmingdale State College “provide[s] professionals with the tools to appropriately convey this information to the populations they serve, with a specific focus on teenagers and young adults.”

Planned Parenthood invites “middle and high school teachers” to attend the workshop.

Barbara Hollingsworth of CNS News reported on a video produced by the taxpayer-funded organization, which launched “A Naked Notion,” a website “dedicated to frank, open conversations about sexuality.”

In the video, host Laci Green (pictured) says in part,

“People sometimes think that those who practice BDSM are emotionally scarred or were once abused—not true, it’s a total myth.”

As Tom Tillison of BizPacReview wryly observes,

“It’s hard not to walk away thinking that Planned Parenthood does all it can to encourage teens to have sex. After all, the more they engage in sex, the more unwanted pregnancies there are to terminate, which is guaranteed job security for the largest provider of abortions in the United States.”
