A buck eight-four for unleaded? Even the “good” stuff is just above $2? Is this a joke?

Well, yes. Here’s the entire sign:

You can’t say you weren’t warned. Obama did that promise just before the 2008 presidential election that under his cap and trade system, the cost of fuel “would necessarily skyrocket.” Of course, his plan for cap and trade never materialized, but he still found a way to induce pain in the pocketbook of American consumers by restricting drilling.

So the answer to the title question — where can you find gas this cheap? — is “in your dreams.”
