Comedy tonight: Montage of Wasserman Schultz insisting she’s not in tank for Hillary

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me 932 times … and as Donald Trump might say, “You’re fired!”

Below is a montage of video clips of newly defrocked DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz appearing on one or another news show. The common link among them is in each she vehemently denies being in the tank for Hillary Clinton.

In the first clip, an interview with Fox News Channnel’s Maria Bartiromo, Schultz claims that “there’s no shred of evidence to suggest that I’m favoring Hillary Clinton.” The exchange calls to mind a meme that is making the rounds on Twitter:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In the same clip, Schultz says, somewhat tellingly, “I’m not doing a very good job of wrapping up the nomination for her if I were actually favoring Hillary Clinton.”
