Candidate of ‘everyday Americans’ shuts down high-end NYC dept. store to do WHAT?

Like President husband, like wannabe wife.

Last Friday, Hillary Clinton — aka, the candidate for everyday Americans — took a page out of her hubby, Bubba’s, playbook. Instead of shutting down two runways at LAX to get a pricey trim aboard Air Force One, the missus settled for cordoning off part of toney Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue in New York City for a cut and blow-dry. Maybe if she ever makes it back to the White House, she can move up to airports.

From the Daily Mail:

The former Secretary of State and her group were seen entering the building by a side entrance before heading for the exclusive John Barrett salon….

A source told the paper: ‘Staff closed off one side of Bergdorf’s so Hillary could come in privately to get her hair done.’

An elevator bank was shut down so she could ride up alone, and then she was styled in a private area of the salon.

Bill Clinton’s 1993 haircut by Christophe of Beverly Hills, his regular stylist, set him back $200. Mrs. Clinton’s haircut was $600, which is still more than the $330.29 her husband’s haircut would cost in 2015 dollars after adjusting for inflation.

Lately, Hillary Clinton has been slipping up when it comes to backing up her not only her populist message but her liberal agenda as well. On Monday, she spoke to a crowd in Des Moines about the ravages of climate change, then promptly climbed aboard a private 19-seat jet that burns half as much fuel as a 135-seat commercial jetliner.

As for her Bergdorf stunt, Clinton, who also has been coloring her hair for years, recently quipped that there was no way she would let her hair turn white while in the White House. Let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
