English language translators can’t seem to agree on exactly what the title is, but one thing’s for sure: A decidedly anti-Obama music video from Egypt is taking the internet by storm, as reported by Mediaite, Aug. 5, 2013.
Some westerners have referred to this Arab language video as “Obama, stop this or I will stab you ” while others deem the title to be “Hey Obama, your father, your mother.”
One thing that everyone agrees on is that this particular video ditty is nothing remotely close in its message to Amber Lee Ettinger’s 2007 fawning internet sensation “I got a crush… on Obama” video from 2007.
In the video, which is here, Egyptian pop star/belly dancer/sometime actress Sama Al-Masry is unequivocating in her expressed opinion of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi or the American Chief Executive Barack Obama. Accusing Obama of aiding a dictatorial and oppressive Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Masry (which translates to “The Egyptian”) croons: “You threaten us with the US aid/F**k it and f**k you./You are a jerk…/Obaaaaaaaaaamaaaaaa.”
Toward the of the video, the gyrating Sama offers up some choice words for Turks and Israelis. Yet the main target of the video is the man who supported ex-president Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood. “All of you, go to hell!” she sings, adding, “Obama, are you listening?”
