There’s a lot this going on. First comes the revelation that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of the most vocal critics of the vile, “un-American” Koch brothers, was only too happy to accept their money in the form of a campaign contribution.
Now it turns out that another Democratic Senate veteran, New York’s Chuck Schumer, crawled out of the same hypocritical sewer. Newsbusters’s P.J. Gladnick reminds readers that Schumer appeared uneasy when asked by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough whether he agreed with Reid’s assessment of the Kochs. The reason for Schumer’s uneasiness is now obvious:
