Student leaders at the University of Maryland’s main campus have “introduced a new resolution pledging solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” reports Campus Reform:
Members of the Student Government Association (SGA)—which represents the student body—introduced the resolution on March 4 following joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on the dictatorial regime in Iran.
The resolution condemns American intervention in Iran….
It also condemns the January capture of Venezuelan dictator and cartel gangbanger Nicolás Maduro, who was arrested on charges of international drug trafficking. It reads, in part, “The SGA condemns unprovoked US military intervention against Iran, Venezuela, and all countries around the world.”
“The SGA stands in solidarity with all Iranian victims of US and Israeli strikes,” it continues.
Despite the fact that Iranians worldwide celebrated the coordinated strikes and subsequent Feb. 28 death of dictator Ayatollah Khamenei, the resolution feigns support for Iranians’ right to “self-determination” of their own political futures “without foreign interference or coercion.”
Yet, social media is flooded with videos of the Iranian people thanking the administration of President Donald Trump for taking decisive action.
Finally, the resolution calls on the university to divest from any and all entities “responsible for the manufacture and distribution of arms used in unlawful strikes against Iran and Venezuela to the US and Israel.”
In 2023, left-wing students offered money to kill Jews, at San Francisco State University.
San Francisco’s ethnic studies class, which students must take to graduate, “favorably depicts Genghis Khan, the genocidal man who launched the Mongol invasions that killed 40 million people. For example, he exterminated over a million people in the great city of Merv after it surrendered, resulting in that that ancient city no longer existing. Genghis Khan exterminated the Tangut people, who numbered about 3 million. San Francisco’s ethnic-studies class is relentlessly negative about America, focusing on tearing down our country, not on highlighting the historical contributions of nonwhite innovators or patriots.”
Community college students in California have been required to take ethnic studies classes infused with critical race theory. K-12 students are also being required to take classes in critical ethnic studies or critical race theory. Hispanic students in a California school district were forced to learn critical race theory. They hated it, reported Reason Magazine.
