Biden freed drug lord who murdered 8-year-old boy and his mother to keep them from testifying

President Biden “gave clemency to a drug lord in Connecticut who murdered an 8-year-old boy and his mother to stop them from testifying,” notes Max Meyer. “Biden set this man free, effective July” of this year, he adds.

Connecticut’s Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal criticized Biden’s decision to release the man, saying “someone dropped the ball… This was a really vicious murder.” In Connecticut, there was bipartisan agreement that Biden’s release of the killer was a mistake.

“Former President Biden’s clemency for Adrian Peeler is a disgusting miscarriage of justice,” “utterly indefensible” given his conviction over “brutal murders,” said Vincent Candelora, the Republican Minority Leader in Connecticut’s House of Representatives. It “dismisses the pain of the victims’ families and erodes public trust in the principles of justice.”

Joseph Ganim, the Democratic former mayor of  Bridgeport, said, “I agree with Senator Blumenthal’s statement that someone dropped the ball with President Biden pardoning this convicted murderer who ruthlessly took the lives of an innocent child and his mother leaving our community to grapple again with this horrific crime.”

Earlier, President Biden pardoned his own brothers, son, and other relatives for crimes committed over a long period of time — shielding them from prosecution for crimes such as tax evasion, bribery, and corruption.

Biden also commuted the sentences of murderers, rapists, and robbers, and freed a “black widow” who murdered three ex-lovers. Biden also commuted the sentence of a corrupt judge who participated in a scheme that sent 2,500 kids to a for-profit prison for excessive periods, in exchange for kickbacks. The kids were given longer sentences to keep the for-profit prison full. Biden also commuted the sentences of criminals who stole over $5 billion and politicians who took bribes. And Biden granted clemency to Chinese spies and the brother of Hamas’s founder.
