The president “is doing 100% fine after his fall,” the White House reported, which is interesting considering that he wasn’t 100% fine before his fall.
Fox News notes:
President Biden stumbled twice and fell as he scaled the stairs to Air Force One on Friday at Joint Base Andrews.
The president was briskly climbing the stairs to the presidential jet before appearing to trip, attempting to gather himself, then tripping again. A reporter in the pool following Biden reported that it’s a windy day at Andrews.
Windy day. Yeah, sure — that’s the problem. Not that Biden is pushing 80 and was betraying signs of his advancing years before long beginning his campaign in 2019.
Weasel Zippers features a video of Biden during the campaign season chiding Donald Trump over his physical limitations, which it contrasts with the image of Biden sprawled on the steps of the presidential jet. “Look at how he steps; look at how I step. Watch how I run up ramps, and he stumbles down ramps.”
The photo calls to mind another Trump contender who had difficulty negotiating flights of steps:
At some point the legislature is going to need to come to terms with the reality that Biden isn’t fit to serve. The sooner, the better.
