Yesterday was a crisp but sunny day in Washington, D.C. It was ideal weather for the thousands who turned out for this year’s Women’s March.

As you can judge from the video that follows, not a discouraging word was heard — least of all the dreaded word superspreader, which comes tripping off liberal lips any time Donald Trump so much as thinks the words crowd or turnout.

As LU’s editors commented back when the media provided its one-sided coverage of the Sturgis bike rally, which is the ultimate non-liberal get-together, “The virus knows no age, race, or gender, but it does know if you’re violating the rules of social distancing to be part of some redneck rally vs. a ‘good cause.’”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Yesterday’s event was of course a “good cause,” especially because this year’s Women’s March had a secondary theme above and beyond women’s rights. This year’s march, as Vox notes, was about voting Donald Trump out of office:

… [O]n Saturday, Americans gathered again in the nation’s capital and in cities around the country to protest the possibility of a Trump second term and call for progressive change. You could still spot pink “pussy” hats in the crowd in Washington, a sometimes-criticized homage to Trump’s boast on the Access Hollywood tape that he could grab women “by the pussy.”

Ah, yes, pussy hats. One detail the anti-Trump enthusiasts were overlooking is that Joe Biden, the guy they are rooting for to replace Trump, hasn’t just spoken of grabbing women “by the pussy.” He has been accused of doing it, though yesterday’s marchers and the rest of the Left decided to ignore Tara Reade, a former Biden aide, who claims that the then-senator non-consensually reached his hand under her panties.

In an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” earlier this month, former White House Communications director and current hero of the Left Anthony Scaramucci said, “People gave Donald Trump a pass four years ago for his lack of sexual ethics because Trump never pretended to be a paragon of virtue in that sense,” … unlike other politicians and their hypocritical “sanctimony.” Biden qualifies for the latter category, especially with his pretenses of female empowerment while serially creeping over women in front of cameras.

Joe Biden

But “serially creeping over women in front of cameras” is another of Joe’s little foibles the Left is willing to overlook.

How do you spell hypocrisy?
