This must be what Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan meant by a summer of love. In a video livestreamed via Periscope Wednesday night by Concrete Reporting, activists with Black Lives Matter in Seattle demanded that white people vacate their homes, ceding he properties to black people who are “coming for it” one way or the other.
The mob, which had as many white faces as black, carried signs and in one or two instances bullhorns. In the video that follows, one activist can be heard demanding:
Give up your house. Give black people back their homes. You’re sitting there comfortably — comfortable as f*ck as if they didn’t help gentrify this neighborhood. I used to live in this neighborhood and my family was pushed out and you’re sitting up there having a good time with your other white friends.

“We’re coming for it. Reparation time,” one man said in a video posted to Twitter.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
According to Hot Air, about 50 people took part in the protest. The blog’s John Sexton mused:
We’re not quite to the French Revolution stage of dragging people out of their homes yet but we seem to be inching closer. I wonder if this will catch on. The Left is already comfortable going into suburban neighborhoods for protests (and vandalism) of elected officials homes. Singling out strangers seems like the next step. And it’s worth noting that this isn’t just harassment it’s explicitly racial harassment.
The demands for reparations are certainly becoming more extreme. In July, a rapper who goes by “T.I.” said he wants $44 trillion in slavery reparations. That was chicken feed next to demand by the nation’s mayors that reparations in the amount of $6.2 quadrillion be paid out to 41 million black descendant of slaves, which works out to $151 million per descendant. More recently a BLM leader in Chicago declared looting as to be a form of reparations and urged marauders to take “anything they want to take.”
It will be interesting to see where this all ends.
