Behar: Trump holding coronavirus briefings only because he can’t have campaign rallies

Last weekend it was The View’s Whoopi Goldberg who flashed her Trump hatred coupled with a hefty dose of her ignorance when she declared that Americans wouldn’t need to be sheltering in place if we had real “leadership.” No one else on the panel bothered to ask Goldberg how she explained the fact that citizens of countries not led by Donald Trump are also sheltering in place. Then again, maybe it failed to occur to any of the other hosts, none of whom are exactly MENSA candidates.

Goldberg’s message was delivered remotely since he has herself has self-quarantined. It was another of the show’s regulars, Joy Behar, who demonstrated her own TDS on Monday. The 77-year-old Behar, who in a high-risk group for the virus and is also working remotely, claimed that the president Donald was holding daily coronavirus updates only because he was unable to hold live campaign rallies.

The insightful comment came in the context of co-host Sunny Hostin’s observation that that “that networks should not even be at this point broadcasting his 90 minutes of misinformation” — a popular view among liberal media figures, who simply can’t stand the sight of Trump.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

It was at this point that Behar added her two cents:

He cannot have his MAGA Trump rallies anymore where they tell him how wonderful he is. He is using us instead of the MAGA rallies and that’s why he makes these.
