Before the Senate impeachment trial began, Democrats fully expected at trial’s end to receive a t-shirt reading “I impeached the president and I’ll I got was this lousy t-shirt.” Now it looks like the Dems will come away from the experience with a new idol. His identity is already distressingly well-known to Republicans, but suffice it to say that had he been fighting for the British at the Battle of Bunker Hill, which is where American military office William Prescott reportedly uttered the immortal words “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes,” he would have been the first casualty.
He is none other than Rep. Adam Schiff, and over the past three days, he is has earned quite the reputation as an orator, at least among his liberal colleagues in the media. You have to wonder what impeachment they’re watching.
