House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended the impeachment witch hunt against President Trump, saying it is simply too dangerous to let voters decide who their leader is in 2020.
The comments, made in a memo issued to her Democratic colleagues, suggest it would be an act of weakness to back off the proceedings now and leave it up to the American people.
“The weak response to these hearings has been, ‘Let the election decide.’ That dangerous position only adds to the urgency of our action, because POTUS is jeopardizing the integrity of the 2020 elections,” Pelosi rationalized.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Apart from suggesting the current election would be dangerous because the American people can’t be trusted with their vote, Pelosi is admitting that pursuit of this impeachment charade is all about overturning the 2016 election since they couldn’t be trusted back then either. Democratic Congressman Jeff Van Drew recently voiced an opinion similar to what Pelosi is countering. “We’re going to have an election next year, let’s have the election, let’s fight through the election, let’s do what Republicans and Democrats and whomever else does,” he said, mimicking the Republican reaction before adding, “but this is going to get us nowhere.”
Open and Shut Case
Pelosi went on to demonstrate that she’s nothing more than a partisan hack heading up an inquiry by a resistance party full of partisan hacks. She argued that the impeachment proceedings are an open and shut case, that the facts are “uncontested,” and accused President Trump of “abus[ing] his power for his own personal, political benefit, at the expense of our national security interests.”
She must be confusing this president with the previous one.
“None of us comes to Congress to impeach a President,” Pelosi said knowing full well that some in her caucus announced on Day One their goal of “impeach[ing] the motherf*cker.” (RELATED: CNN Pushes Inane Fantasy About Nancy Pelosi Becoming President)

Trump Fires Back
It didn’t take long at all for Trump to fire back at Pelosi for suggesting the American people couldn’t be trusted to decide the nation’s fate in 2020.
“[Pelosi] thinks I’m going to win and doesn’t want to take a chance on letting the voters decide,” he told his supporters on social media. “She wants to change our voting system. Wow, she’s CRAZY!”
Nancy Pelosi just stated that “it is dangerous to let the voters decide Trump’s fate.” @FoxNews In other words, she thinks I’m going to win and doesn’t want to take a chance on letting the voters decide. Like Al Green, she wants to change our voting system. Wow, she’s CRAZY!

Indeed, Pelosi does appear to be out of control, compelled to pursue impeachment hoaxes due to pressure from the unhinged wing of the her party.
