Wind it up and it says something stupid.
FCTRY, a company that creates action figures inspired by big political names, is launching a Kickstarter campaign to mold its next product after the New York Democrat.
If the campaign launching Tuesday is successful, the scaled-down AOC will stand six inches tall and about an inch wide. Ocasio-Cortez’s smiling, pint-sized doppelgänger sports a white suit similar to the one the House freshman wore to her swearing-in ceremony in January. She’s also seen with her “signature red lip,” gold hoop earrings and pulled-back hair.
FCTRY is the same outfit that gave us the Mueller bobblehead, released back in January when the Left was still convinced that then-special counsel Robert Mueller had the goods on Donald Trump and was hence their savior. (RELATED: Robert Mueller ‘prayer candles’? We’ve seen everything now) Presumably they would fashioned an Adam Schiff bobblehead based on recent events in the news, but there was probably some concern over how consumers would know the difference between the dolls and the real-life congressman.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
As to the Ocasio-Cortez project, The Hill quotes a statement by FCTRY CEO Jason Feinberg to the effect that the 30-year-old lawmaker “went from bartending and waiting tables to becoming one of the most influential politicians of our time, all in the span of three years.” I’m not to sure about Feinberg’s math since Ocasio-Cortez has been in Congress only since January of this year.
