Pelosi says there’s ‘no joy’ for Dems in impeaching Trump. Really?

According to ABC News, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has assumed the role of a parent about to spank his child, claiming she is “heartbroken and prayerful” over the prospect of impeaching Donald Trump.

“This is a very sad time for our country. There is no joy in this,” she is quoted as saying. “We must be somber, we must be prayerful and we must pursue the facts further to make a decision as to ‘Did this violate the Constitution of the United States?’ Which I believe it did.” In other words, this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you.

Methinks the speaker doth protest too much, and apparently so do other Democrats, who are practically salivating over the possibility they might be able to dump Trump. One of them is freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is now selling t-shirts emblazoned with her catch phrase “Impeach the MF.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Another is presidential hopeful Julian Castro, who is anything but heartbroken. Last Wednesday, the former HUD director under Barack Obama was captured on video laughing along with supporters who suggested that, when he, Castro, is elected, Trump and his family will be ushered off to prison.

It’s a rare look at how the Left truly does believe, despite their inability to find any criminal wrongdoing by the president, that he will be hauled away in cuffs along with his family. And man, are they loving every minute of it.

“On Jan. 20th, 2021, I look forward to being there on the White House lawn when it’s customary for the incoming president to usher out the outgoing president,” Castro said. “You know that scene on the White House lawn?”

“To say goodbye to Donald Trump and Melania Trump,” he added. “They’re going to get ready to go off to New York or Mar-a-lago—”

“Prison,” someone interrupts.

Another beta male can be heard in the background shouting “Rikers … Rikers!”

All the while, Castro is laughing and smiling.

“I’m going to think about all of the little kids they’ve separated,” Castro lamented. He must be referring to the Obama administration who had a policy in place of separating children from illegal alien adults as a means of keeping them safe, a tactic Trump has continued for the same reasons.

The fantasies about Trump in prison aren’t just a one-off from a low-level candidate. Some very mainstream Democrats have openly dreamed of the same scenario. That includes the prayerful Pelosi herself, who, according to multiple sources, told her colleagues in June that she’d like to see the president in prison. (RELATED: Donald Trump Jr. Slams Castro: List of Trump Supporters Just Like Dayton Shooter’s Hit List)

“I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi reportedly told senior Democrats during a meeting with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler.

Castro, meanwhile, ran into some controversy back in August when his brother, Joaquin Castro, doxxed Trump donors in San Antonio, many of whom turned out to have donated to his own campaign.

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel blasted Castro for his “dangerous, reckless” actions, demanding that Pelosi condemn him. But why would she? When she’s not feeling heartbroken or prayerful, the hypocritical 79-year-old congresswomen is of a mind with the Castro brothers.
