As LU’s J.E. Dyer noted yesterday following the release of the much anticipated Ukraine call transcript, the document is far from the smoking gun the Left was hoping for, though the dialogue has the potential to provide a remedy for insomnia.
It must strike Democrats that way as well because one of them who has been at the vanguard of the three-years-long witch hunt to unseat Donald Trump, Rep. Adam Schiff, has come out with what might be called a “dramatic reading” of the transcript.
Schiff stops short of sound effects in his declamation, but takes considerable poetic license to liven up the otherwise drab conversation, sharing with his fellow members on the House Intelligence Committee “the essence of what the president communicates.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Have a listen:
The Ukraine Call Transcript was so damning that Adam Schiff had to completely rewrite it and make up quotes that weren’t in it.pic.twitter.com/bkB6RxLFjV

Some commenters on Twitter noted that the use of fake dialogue is par for the course for Schiff, who during the entirety of the Mueller investigation claimed to have solid evidence of Trump’s pre-election collusion with Russia. The goggle-eyed congressman has yet to provide so much as a scrap of that evidence.
Others had fun with Schiff’s “free translation”:

Schiff has since claimed that his “essence of what the president communicated” was meant as a parody.
Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (CA) admits that his blatant fabrication of quotes from Trump's Ukraine call was "wrong" after he got called out
Schiff claims it was a "parody"
Impeachment is a politically polarizing event and Schiff thinks it's just a big joke
