Democrats, as we have been told repeatedly, are the party of tolerance and love. For an idea of just how tolerant and loving Dems can be, Google the keywords Antifa attack.

Or read on. But first the back story. Last week Sen. Rand Paul delivered what might be called a “genteel” version of Donald Trump’s “go back” remark to Rep. Ilhan Omar. He said:

She has the honor of actually winning a seat in Congress and she says we’re a terrible country?. I think that’s about as ungrateful as you can get.

While I’m not saying we forcibly send her anywhere, I’m willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia. I think she can look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia, that has no capitalism, has no God-given rights guaranteed in the Constitution, and has about seven different tribes that have been fighting each other for the last 40 years.

And then maybe after she visited Somalia for a while, she might come back and appreciate America more.

It’s understandable that Omar might find the offer galling. So how did she respond? By retweeting a post by unhinged liberal “entertainer” Tom Arnold praising the man who physically attacked Paul in 2018. The senator, who was blindsided by an irate Democratic neighbor, suffered serious injuries, including broken ribs and a punctured lung. Another example, by the way, of Democratic love and tolerance.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Here’s the Arnold tweet Ilhan saw fit to retweet:

Some commenters on Twitter asked the rhetorical question of whether Omar was condoning violence:

Others asked why Omar would do something like this. The answer to that question is obvious. As I first opined in February 2011, liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of insane bloodthirsty rage and hate. Liberals like Omar prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.

Of course, we don’t have to wonder what would happen if Trump retweeted something like this to a Democrat.

As for Omar, who currently enjoys a well-deserved favorability rating in her home district of 25%, one can only hope that voters in her district will finally tire of her hateful anti-Semitism and her anti-Americanism and pull the lever for her opponent come 2020.
