Football Follies 2018: Booger down

It’s finally happened: we’ve utterly missed a Booger Bowl window, due to too much holiday merriment.

No excuses, sir, ma’am, and/or all of the above and a gender-viscous partridge in a pear tree as the case may be.

This is naturally happening as we face a lopsided bowl weekend for our Inner Circle.  Instead of the usual insightful musings from your LU Football Commentary Service, we’ll have to make do with a barebones list of coming attractions.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

We do pause to note that Auburn was taking no prisoners today in its widely expected win over Purdue. War Eagle was giving 4; the spread ended up being 49.  Good times, good times.

And as correspondent R. Jacoby pointed out earlier, the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl gained itself 1,000 priceless Booger-cred points by getting itself cancelled due to lightning after one touchdown was scored in Dallas.  Just can’t buy it.

29 December

We are in no way regretful that the most important people in the Oklahoma Sooner rooting contingent will be attending a wedding in Fort Worth during the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl.  Absolutely in no way.  We love the bride and groom too much for that.  We wouldn’t have it any other way.  That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.

Follow the bouncing bold for the LU Inner Circle.
