Last week it was reported in this space that a teacher in Los Angeles assigned her third-grade class lessons on sexual consent and how to show it. Judging from the content and the teacher’s remarks, the lessons were driven less by a sincere belief that this is information every 8-year-old needs to have than with the teacher’s personal dissatisfaction with the outcome of the Brett Kavanaugh investigation.

Now comes word of a survey sent to students in Vermont that asks about their sexual history, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Unlike the story out of California, these kids are much older. They are 10.

According to Plattsburgh, N.Y., NBC affiliate WPTZ:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The survey was done by WISE, a domestic violence prevention and advocacy group that runs educational programs in Windsor [Vt.] schools.

Parents were supposedly sent a notice allowing them to opt their children out of the survey, but one parent insists she never received it. That parent, Vanessa Beach, told reporters she is not averse to her daughter learning about gender identity and sexuality but felt the questions on the survey were an invasion of her daughter’s privacy and inappropriate for her age group.

My daughter is 10. So are all the other kids who took this. A sexual partner at 10 years old would be called sexual abuse.

The incident represents yet another shameless attempt by the Left to force its worldview down the throat of American society at any cost. It matters not to them that young children may be hurt in the process, which is another indication of how dangerous they have become.
