Passover 2018

Passover 2018

Dear friends, we watch with concern the developments in Gaza as Passover week begins in 2018.  We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for a safe Passover commemoration for all who celebrate it throughout the world.

We come to Passover at a remarkable time, when the winds of change are blowing briskly through the Middle East.

But we remember what the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did for His people on that Passover night, and take courage from it.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The songs and the melodies have changed, perhaps, across some 3,400 years.  But the sentiments have not.

The Maccabeats are here to bring us Ma Nishtanah (“Why is tonight different from all other nights?”).

And the boys of Boys Town Jerusalem chime in with a rousing Dayenu.

Happy Passover from Liberty Unyielding.
