His name is [score]Rob Quist[/score] (D-Mont.), and he wants your vote. Provided, that is, you believe in global warming. If you don’t, he still wants your vote, though he has a more pressing request for you. Namely, he wants you to kill yourself.
It’s a novel approach. That’s for sure.

On a televised debate, Quist was given the last chance to comment on climate change when he made his strange recommendation.
“This is something that the entire world needs to address,” Quist said. “If any those [sic] of you that feel like this is not a problem, I challenge you to go into your car in your garage, start your car, and see what happens there.”
Quist doesn’t seem to understand the difference between carbon monoxide (which is the odorless but deadly chemical emission from your car’s internal combustion engine) and carbon dioxide (which is the gas released by humans when they exhale, decomposition, the ocean, volcanoes, cow farts, and — of course — the burning of fossil fuels ). In fact, carbon dioxide is essential to life on earth. The more important issue is that eliminating all manmade carbon “pollution” would not dramatically affect the naturally changing temperatures patterns on earth, which have been in constant flux since the planet first cooled.
In any event, Quist is a ridiculous person and even more ridiculous candidate for public office.
